Environmental Policy and Objectives

Big House Events are a multi-discipline, creative events company based in Edinburgh. We provide a range of production services including lighting design and installation, scenic design and construction, production crew and event management.

The Directors and staff at Big House Events acknowledge that they have a responsibility to the environment, and are committed to a programme of continuous improvement. The company strives to reduce the risk of pollution to the environment and ensure that it complies with all relevant legislation and other requirements to which it subscribes.

The specific aims of Big House Events’ environmental policy are to minimise the impact of our operations on the environment. We aim to achieve this by implementing the following objectives:

1.To recycle as much of our waste as possible

2.To minimise the amount of energy consumed in the running of our business

3.To encourage responsible sourcing of products to reduce environmental impact and wherever possible source materials locally.

4.We will provide adequate training to all employees to ensure they behave in an environmentally responsible manner.

5.To promote our commitment to environmental responsibility to our contractors and suppliers by making this policy available to all stakeholders and customers upon request.
