Big House Events work with schools, universities and colleges to install lighting for stage and performance areas and scenery for theatre productions.

School Stage Lighting

From small scale stage spot lights to larger scale lighting rigs we can install creative lighting to enhance your school theatre production.  We can also provide lighting packages for your school to use throughout the year for external and internal locations, one off events, annual performances and rehearsal periods.

School Staging

We have one of the largest stage stocks in Edinburgh and are equipped to install a stage area from scratch or to provide your with an extension to your current stage area.  We use Prolyte Stage Dex which are a more versatile and easy to install option, which means we can build your stage quickly and efficiently!

School Scenery and Props

In our 6,000 square foot scenic workshop, we are fully equipped to design and build excellent high quality props and stage sets for school, college and university productions. We have an excellent team of carpenters and builders, many from the theatre industry who are adept at building professional scenery and props for all productions.
