Big House Events created a bespoke bus shelter structure for The Enchanted Forest in Pitlochry, designed to combine strong visual impact with the practical demands of a busy public environment.

The installation required a balance of structural strength and intricate surface detail, while also being robust, safe and quick to install. To meet these requirements, the team developed a modular construction system that allowed the individual elements to be fabricated in the workshop and assembled efficiently on site.

Designed to withstand repeated public use, the finished structure combined detailed scenic work with practical construction, creating an installation that was both visually distinctive and durable.

The project demonstrates how creative fabrication and technical problem-solving can work together on complex public installations, translating an ambitious design into a robust structure built for a real-world environment.
