Working with Stripe Communications, Big House Events produced this interactive artwork for CHAS (Children’s Hospices Across Scotland), designed to encourage people to ‘make their mark’ and gradually bring the tree to life.

The brief called for a simple, visually engaging installation that could invite public participation while being robust enough to withstand repeated use in a live event setting.

Our team fabricated a solid, transportable base and clean-finished frame, incorporating a removable panel system for the tree graphic. Every element was designed with practicality in mind, making the installation straightforward to transport, assemble and use on site.

Interactive installations like this may appear simple, but getting them right means balancing appearance, durability and ease of use. Careful detailing ensured the finished piece looked considered while standing up to hands-on public interaction.
