MARIE CURIE - BRAND ACTIVIATION (2018)

JMP PRODUCTIONS, GLASGOW QUEEN STREET STATION

Brand Activation & Bespoke Event Fabrication

Commissioned by JMP Productions and designed by Gordon Davidson, Big House Events created a compact brand activation for Marie Curie at Glasgow Queen Street Station.

Designed for a busy, high-footfall environment, the installation combined CNC-cut panel fabrication and modular construction with an integrated contactless donation point. The tap-to-donate plinth provided a simple way for members of the public to engage with the activation while keeping the overall footprint compact.

With limited time available on site, the structure was designed around efficient installation and de-rig. The entire activation was installed overnight and later removed in the same way, minimising disruption within the station while allowing it to make an impact throughout its live period.

The project demonstrates how the same approach to practical construction, precision fabrication and careful planning used for large-scale event builds can be applied to smaller, highly considered public-facing installations.
