Interactive Event Installation & Scenic Fabrication

Big House Events created a bespoke mini golf installation for the Scottish Open, bringing together scenic fabrication and interactive elements in a build inspired by Scotland’s coastline and landscape.

The course combined custom-built obstacles, printed scenic elements and artificial grass to create a playful environment designed for visitors to interact with as part of the wider event.

Drawing on techniques more commonly associated with scenic construction, the team transformed the concept into a practical, durable installation that could work within a busy live-event setting.

The finished mini golf course demonstrates how scenic fabrication can be used beyond traditional sets and staging to create engaging, interactive event environments.
