NOISY LIBRARY (2025)

Big House Events created and finished a series of colourful scenic elements for the Royal Scottish National Orchestra’s Noisy Library, a programme introducing children and young people to music through live performance and storytelling.

Built in the Big House workshop, the scenery featured large-scale structures, playful shapes and a bold palette of yellows, oranges, blues, greens and pinks, creating a vibrant setting for the performances.

Each element was constructed and finished by the Big House team, combining practical set building with detailed scenic work to create pieces with plenty of visual impact.

The finished scenery helped create an engaging world around the music and storytelling, demonstrating how bespoke scenic construction can transform a performance space and help bring an imaginative production to life.
